I had an accident yesterday involving water and electronics. Not good! I now have no computer for producing music. Luckily, I am in the process of raising money for my first album, and part of that money will be going towards a new computer. A lot of people have asked me what is so important about testing your tracks in mono. This tutorial will show you why this can really change your tracks!

Out there in the vast reaches of the internet exists a website called Kickstarter. It is a service which aims to help people fulfill their creative projects by allowing investors to financially support the efforts. In return, investors get ‘rewards’ in exchange for the contributions, as well as a sense that they helped someone get closer to achieving their dreams.

I have created a project on Kickstarter to make my debut album. I am raising $5,000 in order to purchase some new recording gear, get the CDs duplicated and promoted, and money to produce the rewards for contributors.

The project only runs for 30 days, and after that time if the goal is not reached, all the investors get their contributions returned. So it’s really a win-win for investors.

Since my first synth programming tutorial, I decided to start making videos more regularly. So I bring to you MASSIVE MONDAY! This week I made two videos, but mostly I’ll just be doing one a week.
